Many LJRA members remember Sam Winters. Sam was a founding member of the LJRA and was responsible for my early envolvement. Sam was also my friend and knower of all things historic when it came to the "j". The year before Sam died, he called me one day to come see his new rig. There it was, a bright blue, 9ft Fish Cat pontoon boat made by Outcast. It was mounted on a custom trailer built by Sam expressly for the purpose, with carefully constructed and lockable storage boxes. He also showed me how the Fish Cat also mounted on the back of his truck camper on a special hitch mounted gizmo in a verticle position when not on the trailer. Since then it has been stored in the garage at Sam and Suzie's home in Birmingham. Now Suzie has asked me to help her sell the whole shibang, boat, trailer and EZ lift. Anybody interested? call me at 814 684 5922.
Also, Suzie very generously donated Sam's fly tying materials and equipment to the LJRA for our free winter tying lessons . So if you go to see the pontoon, thank Suzie for this.
